The AeroPress is a lightweight, compact and almost unbreakable device that is ideal for travel. When preparing coffee in the AeroPress, you have almost unlimited options for adjusting the temperature, time and amount of coffee, so everyone can find the best recipe for their taste.

History of the AeroPress

The AeroPress was invented in 2005 by Alan Adler, an engineer from the US who was looking for a way to create coffee with a clean taste and rich body. It combines elements of the French press and espresso and offers a wide range of customization options. Due to its simplicity and high-quality preparation, the AeroPress quickly gained popularity among coffee enthusiasts and is now a popular coffee preparation tool around the world.

Classic coffee preparation method:

You will need:

16 g coffee ground one degree coarser than for a filter

250 ml of water at 92°C

Method:

  1. Place the paper filter in the holder and rinse it with water. Then place it on the Aeropress and place it on the mug.
  2. Put the ground coffee into the Aeropress, then pour in 30 ml of water and mix thoroughly with the stirrer so that all the ground coffee is soaked.
  3. After about 20 seconds, slowly add the rest of the water to a total of 250 ml . And stir gently.
  4. Then insert the plunger and slowly push the drink into the cup using gentle pressure. Do not push all the way in, as this will cause the bitter foam to come out.
