Introducing: Colombia El Diviso

Our Cooperation

Our first meeting with farmer Linarc took place during our trip to Colombia. We regularly travelled abroad to pick up coffee directly at its place of origin and Colombia absolutely charmed us. The combinations that make up Colombian coffee in a cup are simply unique.

Charles, the owner of our roastery, has judged the traditional Cup of Excellence coffee competition in Colombia. We ended our Colombian adventure with our first purchase of a fantastic Linarco microlot, which came 13th out of several hundred entries. We have built a great relationship with Linarco, which has led to a long-term collaboration that we cannot praise enough. We are happy to have had the good fortune and opportunity to meet many great farmers and Linarco is one of the best.

El Divisio 2

Farm

Linarco owns a small farm, Finca El Diviso, covering 10.4 hectares. The farm is located in the south-west of Colombia in the hills of the Huila region, in an endless green, rolling landscape where you feel like you can touch the sky with your hand.

El Diviso

Farmář

Linarco Rodriguez Ospina lives here with his entire family, his mother and sisters, who also work on the farm. He is a third generation coffee producer and has participated in the Cup of Excellence in 2013, 2015 and 2018 with his coffees. His entire family works hard to produce amazing, quality coffees and due to their small production, we are proud to bring these coffees to you so you can enjoy them as much as we do. This microlot is only 340kg, so don't hesitate!

Coffee

This coffee is characterized by an impressive complexity in the cup with an exotic blend of lychee, strawberry, caramel and milk chocolate.

We prefer to roast it for Chemex in the roastery, as it produces a cleaner cup in which all the sweetness and layers come through. :-)
