Cold Brew Season
As soon as the weather warms up, most coffee lovers start looking for ways to enjoy their favorite drink even during hot days. And that's when it's time for Cold Brew. This coffee preparation method has gained popularity worldwide thanks to its natural sweetness, smoothness, and refreshing character. And the best part is that you can easily prepare it at home.
What is Cold Brew?
Cold Brew is a method of preparing coffee in which the coffee is steeped in cold or lukewarm water for several hours. Unlike classic filtered coffee, hot water is not used, which leads to a completely different taste result. The resulting beverage is typically:
- naturally sweeter
- less acidic
- smoother
- very refreshing
It is precisely the low acidity and high sweetness that make Cold Brew an ideal summer coffee.

Slow extraction draws different flavor components from the coffee than classic hot brewing methods. The result is a beverage with a fuller body, lower bitterness, and a pleasant chocolatey or fruity sweetness depending on the coffee used. Cold Brew is also incredibly versatile. You can drink it:
- neat over ice
- with milk
- with oat drink
- as a Cold Brew Tonic
- as a base for summer coffee cocktails

3. Filter - After steeping, remove the filter or strain the coffee grounds.
4. Serve on ice -Cold Brew tastes best well chilled and served with ice cubes.
