Uganda Kyarumba Natural

The lush area of Kyarumba

Uganda Kyarumba coffee is produced by a group of local farmers in the lush Kyarumba region of Uganda, located on the picturesque slopes of Mount Rwenzori near the Congolese border. This coffee embodies the rich heritage of this region. Each farmer in Kyarumba cultivates an average of half a hectare and practices sustainable mixed farming, growing beans, matokke, sweet potatoes and groundnuts in addition to coffee. Cherries harvested from March to June are transported to the Nyabirongo station, where their quality is checked and drying is carried out. The cherries are sorted and dried for three weeks on raised beds, which ensures optimal flavor development.
