It's made from non-porous borosilicate glass that won't absorb unpleasant odors or chemical residue. What sets the FUNNEX apart from other Chemex coffee makers is that it lets you brew in any container or coffee server you choose! This versatility allows you to brew coffee directly into your mug. The double-walled glass construction keeps heat loss to a minimum while maintaining the look and feel of a classic Chemex.
