Choosing coffee grind coarseness?

The taste of coffee is affected by the coarseness of the ground coffee beans. If you feel that your coffee is too sour or bitter, it may be due to poor grinding of the coffee. The coarseness of the coffee grind is also determined by the preparation method. For example, when preparing coffee using the French press method, the coffee is extracted by immersion in water. This type of preparation requires a coarser grind. Conversely, when brewing espresso, the water flows quickly through the ground coffee, and the coffee needs to be ground more finely.

If you grind your coffee at home, it's good to know what type of grind will work for your machine. Trust your taste buds or get inspired by our guide. If you find that the coffee is too acidic, try grinding it more finely. If it is too bitter, try increasing the coarseness of the grind.
