How to make the perfect autumn coffee at home: 3 recipes that will warm you up

Fall is the perfect time to indulge in warm, flavorful coffee drinks that will capture the spirit of the season. Here are three easy fall coffee drink recipes that you can make yourself.

Pumpkin latte

Pumpkin latte is undoubtedly the king of autumn coffees. This drink with the rich flavor of pumpkin puree and spices will warm you up on chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves).
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • 250 ml of milk of your choice (cow's, almond, oat).
  • 1 espresso (or 60 ml of strong coffee).
  • Whipped cream and cinnamon for decoration (optional).

Procedure

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk, pumpkin puree and spices over medium heat. Stir constantly to dissolve the puree well.
  2. Once the mixture is hot, remove it from the heat and add the vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the espresso into a glass and top it with the prepared milk mixture.
  4. If you like your latte extra sweet, you can add sugar or maple syrup to taste.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Cinnamon cappuccino

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of espresso.
  • 150ml milk.
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon syrup.
  • Ground cinnamon for sprinkling.

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the espresso and pour it into a mug.
  2. Heat the milk in a small saucepan and whisk it until foamy.
  3. Add cinnamon syrup or a mixture of honey and cinnamon to your coffee.
  4. Slowly pour the whipped milk into the coffee.
  5. Sprinkle the top of the drink with a little ground cinnamon.

Chocolate mocha with orange

Ingredients:

  • 1 espresso (or 60 ml of strong coffee).
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar or honey.
  • 200ml milk.
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange peel.

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mix the cocoa with sugar (or honey) and a little hot water to form a smooth paste.
  2. Prepare the espresso and add it to the cocoa mixture.
  3. Heat the milk in a saucepan and add the orange peel. Heat over medium heat until the milk starts to flow slightly.
  4. Pour milk into a mug with coffee and chocolate.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream and grated chocolate for extra sweetness.
